This training kit can be used to investigate a selection of different sensor types commonly used in industrial automation: optical, capacitive and inductive proximity switches to record displacement and proximity. Holders fitted with various sensors are mounted on a base plate. Various measuring plates, which are placed in a movable carriage, serve as the counterpart.
The trigger distance is determined by moving the carriage. The base plate is provided with a scale for this purpose. Small switching distances can be measured with a micrometer (included in the scope of delivery).
The sensors are powered by a separate power supply unit. The power supply unit also displays the operating status of the sensors.
