Al tratarse de un tipo de construcción ligera y con una alta rigidez se encuentra su aplicación en la construcción de naves, puentes, grúas y torres. Estas formaciones son estructuras de celosía en las que las barras están exclusivamente sometidas a la presión o a la tracción, pero no a la flexión.
El objetivo del ensayo es medir los esfuerzos en las barras en una celosía plana sometida a una única carga externa. El equipo para el ensayo SE 110.21 contiene barras con cierres de muelle especiales en los extremos, lo que hace posible un ajuste fácil en los discos nodales. El suministro de barras de distinta longitud permite configurar tres tipos de celosía estáticamente.
Las barras se unen de manera “articulada” con ayuda de discos nodales y sólo se someten a esfuerzos de compresión o de tracción.
En los nudos no se transmiten momentos y se considera despreciable el rozamiento.
Nuestras estructuras se pueden considerar, por lo tanto, celosías ideales. Un dispositivo de carga que se aplica a un disco nodal genera una carga externa. Todos los esfuerzos que actúan en las barras de la celosía se miden mediante técnica de medición con galgas extensométricas.
El análisis de los valores de medición en el PC se realiza con ayuda del amplificador de medida FL 152 (16 canales de entrada). Con el software en FL 152 se manejan los datos de medida y se representan gráficamente los esfuerzos en las barras. El software cuenta con una función de ayuda muy completa.
Las piezas que componen el equipo de ensayo se guardan de modo ordenado y bien protegidas en un sistema de almacenamiento. El conjunto para el ensayo se monta en el bastidor SE 112.
