El uso de las galgas extensométricas está muy difundido como método instrumental para la medida de deformaciones longitudinales.
El equipo de ensayo FL 100 permite una introducción muy completa en los fundamentos de la técnica de las galgas extensométricas. Tres elementos se han equipado con cuatro puntos de medición cada uno por medio de galgas extensométricas para realizar ensayos de tracción, flexión y torsión. Las galgas extensométricas se han conectado como puente en montaje completo. Se aplica un peso por medio de cargas. Por medio de la ecuación de la galga se conoce la deformación.
Los elementos de ensayo se pueden colocar de forma rápida y precisa en el bastidor. La zona de medición de las galgas extensométricas está protegida por una cubierta de plexiglás que permite verla perfectamente. El amplificador suministra la tensión de alimentación para el puente e indica de forma digital, en valores de tensión, el “desajuste del puente” en función de la carga. El indicador digital cuenta además con una función de tara, con lo que se excluye la influencia de cargas previas.
Las piezas necesarias para la realización del ensayo se guardan de forma racional y bien protegidas en un sistema de almacenamiento.
Como accesorio hay disponibles otras tres barras de tracción: de latón (FL 100.01), cobre (FL 100.02) y aluminio (FL 100.03). Esto permite determinar módulos de elasticidad a través de ensayos.
