El rendimiento de aerogeneradores depende de los componentes mecánicos y eléctricos, así como de un control eficiente de todo el sistema. Por lo tanto, se debe conocer la influencia de los parámetros efectivos bajo todas las condiciones de funcionamiento relevantes.
Con el equipo ET 224 se contemplan los componentes de una cadena cinemática de energía eólica. Para una mejor comprensión, se examinarán parámetros importantes del aerogenerador en ensayos con diagramas característicos simuladas. Un motorreductor con número de revoluciones regulable simula el típico rotor eólico de rotación lenta con un alto par de giro. Entre el lado de accionamiento de rotación lenta y el lado del generador de rotación rápida se encuentra un engranaje recto de tres etapas. Un generador síncrono trifásico con rectificador convierte la energía mecánica en energía eléctrica. La energía eléctrica se transfiere a una carga electrónica. Esta carga electrónica se puede controlar directamente o a través del módulo de simulación del software GUNT suministrado.
El manejo y control se realiza a través de un PC (no incluido) conectado mediante una interfaz USB. Con la ayuda del software GUNT se examinarán las diagramas característicos simuladas del rotor eólico en función de la velocidad del viento y el ángulo de las palas del rotor. La potencia disponible en el generador, así como los pares de giro en la cadena cinemática pueden ser medidos bajo los respectivos parámetros de funcionamiento o simulación seleccionados. Además, el software GUNT, que se puede utilizar en red, permite observar, adquirir y evaluar los ensayos en un número ilimitado de puestos de trabajo a través de la red propia del cliente con una sola licencia.
El número de revoluciones del generador, así como los pares de giro del lado de accionamiento y del generador se registrarán con sensores y se visualizarán digitalmente en el software GUNT. Se pueden realizar mediciones individuales, registros automatizados de curvas características y diagramas característicos, así como mediciones durante el funcionamiento autónomo del aerogenerador guiado por el viento.
