This set of specimens is available as an accessory for the WP 300 experimental unit. The specimens have a square cross-section and are made of thin sheet metal.
The specimens are positioned in the WP 300.11 device for cupping tests. The device is inserted in the WP 300 experimental unit.
In experiments, the thin sheet metal specimen is deformed until it cracks. The mirror allows you to observe the specimen from below and to see exactly when the crack starts.
The depth achieved in mm is defined as a standard of comparison for cold formability. In addition, the type of the rupture and the surface structure of the sagging area are analysed.
The set contains five aluminium specimens.
