With the aid of HM 160.85, the measured values for water level, flow rate, and inclination are recorded digitally in the HM 160 test section.
To measure the flow rate, a rotameter with electronic measurement recording is located in the water supply. An ultrasonic distance meter, mounted on a holder, records the water level in the experimental section. The angle of inclination is determined in the GUNT software by measuring the distance. The sensor for distance measurement is mounted in the inclination adjustment of HM 160.
The measured values are transmitted via USB directly to a PC where they can be analysed using the GUNT software included.
